Card Sketch Challenge #11

Another faithful Thursday. Aren't you just happy that weekend is coming? Well, this coming weekend will be the last weekend for January 2009. I hope you have plans and make the most out of it such as joining in our challenge! hehe....well, if you do not have plans and want to save some money on buying scrapbooking stuffs you can try to win this week's goodies bag consist of stamps, album, paper and embellishments for you to grab!!

To join us, simply follow these guidelines....

1. Make a layout OR a card based on the sketch given on every Monday (layout sketch) and every Thursday (card Sketch). Designs are open to your own interpretation but they have to be recognizable.

2. Upload your design(s) on your blog or gallery and post a link of your design on the comment area of the BearyBox blog before 12pm Sunday afternoon, Pacific Standard Time. There is no limit on how many designs you can submit!

3. The winner will be judged by our Design Teams and the final selection will be made by BearyBox based on their votes.

4. The winner will be announced on every Monday.

Submission of a photo entitles BearyBox to use of said photo in future publications or promotions without payment to the artist. Each comment with a link posted counts as one entry. Entries must be submitted via posting in the comment section of the BearyBox blog. One winner will be chosen every week. BearyBox reserves the sole right to choose contest winners and to disqualify any entries without prior notice. The gift certificate is given as an exclussive coupon code to be used for one purchase at http://www.bearybox.com/. First of all, to those of you who are celebrating Chinese New Year, I wish you Gong Xi Fa Chai!! A little update, yesterday we went to C.H.A. tradeshow in Anaheim and I didn't think that we would be spending the whole day in the show, but OMG!! The show is huge guys and extremely exhausting. After hours of walking an talking at least it is was more than worth it. We didn't take a lot of pics because we were busy chatting with manufacturers and examining new products! My legs are extremely sore now, but I still have to blog away and show you guys some nice layouts from our design team members.

Card Sketch Challenge #9

Well, here we are two weeks into 2009! Despite the economic doldrums the scrapbooking business is going strong. I, for one, would keep scrapping even if I didn't have a penny to my name. Despite that we have been minus a couple designers in our last few sketches. Not to worry, this has nothing to do with the economy. They've informed me there are some technology problems on their end. I'm sure they will be back to join us soon.

For the moment forget all about economic bailout plans, corrupt govenors and the struggling auto industry and take a look at what our designers came up with for this week's card design!!
