Card Sketch Challenge #9

Well, here we are two weeks into 2009! Despite the economic doldrums the scrapbooking business is going strong. I, for one, would keep scrapping even if I didn't have a penny to my name. Despite that we have been minus a couple designers in our last few sketches. Not to worry, this has nothing to do with the economy. They've informed me there are some technology problems on their end. I'm sure they will be back to join us soon.

For the moment forget all about economic bailout plans, corrupt govenors and the struggling auto industry and take a look at what our designers came up with for this week's card design!! I have been told that BearyBox sketches are getting harder but you can prove me wrong!! Join our challenge and amaze all of us with your design! To join us, simply follow these guideline....

1. Make a layout OR a card based on the sketch given on every Monday (layout sketch) and every Thursday (card Sketch). Designs are open to your own interpretation but they have to be recognizable.

2. Upload your design(s) on your blog or gallery and post a link of your design on the comment area of the BearyBox blog before 12pm Sunday afternoon, Pacific Standard Time. There is no limit on how many designs you can submit!

3. The winner will be judged by our Design Teams and the final selection will be made by BearyBox based on their votes.

4. The winner will be announced on every Monday.

Submission of a photo entitles BearyBox to use of said photo in future publications or promotions without payment to the artist. Each comment with a link posted counts as one entry. Entries must be submitted via posting in the comment section of the BearyBox blog. One winner will be chosen every week. BearyBox reserves the sole right to choose contest winners and to disqualify any entries without prior notice. The gift certificate is given as an exclussive coupon code to be used for one purchase at http://www.bearybox.com/. It is valid towards the cost of goods only and may not be used to pay for tax or shipping. It is not redeemable for cash. The coupon is good for one purchase only. If the the coupon is used for a purchase totaling less than $15, then the balance value will be forfeit. The coupon code will expire 6 months from the date of issue. Winners will be posted on the BearyBox blog and must contact BearyBox to receive their coupon code within 7 business days. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Layout Sketch Challenge #9

Thanks to all of you who joined our challenge last week! I had fun looking at your blogs and it makes me happy knowing so many of you out there with great talent! Some of your work is simply gorgeous ^__^

How did you spend your last weekend? I don't know about you but watching movie has been kind of the norm for me. I watched Bride Wars and it is a beautiful comedy. It is hard not to love that movie as it combines friendship, wedding, romance and two very beautiful woman. Anyway, Bearybox had a very good start this year and we want it to keep coming. Card Sketch Challenge #8

It is Thursday again!! Yay! I always feel that Thursday is a good day cz generally people will be less grumpy in which they appear to be nicer and happier ^__^ In our case people will be more relaxed and will participate in our challenge because they don't have to worry about time and work. Don't you think so? haha...

I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button yesterday not knowing it is 3 hours long. I have to agree that is a great movie and it leaves me thinking about lots of things especially about life. Just something to think about in this mundane routine I guess. Anyway, my point is do something that makes you happy today such as joining our challenge. Who knows what will happen next.

Layout Sketch Challenge #8

Welcome back Ladies and gentlemen!!!

How is the new year treating you so far? I had a great time visiting Seattle on Christmas holiday and, believe me, I have seen snow before but the snow in Seattle is overwhelming. It was my first time in there and all I saw was a Winter Wonderland, but I was told this impression was all wrong. 12+ inches of snow is not normal for Seattle. Nevertheless I had a great time and am looking forward to the next visit.
